America's founders did not intend for there to be a separation of God and state, as shown by the fact that all 50 states acknowledge God in their state constitutions. If the people of the 1st Congressional District of Nebraska elect me to represent them in the U. S. House of Representatives, I most sincerely pledge to fight for either statutory or Constitutional reforms which will stifle the American Civil Liberties Union and liberal Federal Judges from taking the words "one Nation under God" out of the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag of our country.
